LazyChat.io (together with its affiliated companies – “LazyChat”, “we”, “our” or “us”) puts great efforts into making sure that the personal data processed by us is safe and used properly, and that our data practices are properly communicated to our customers, users and prospects.
This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, store, use, and disclose personal data relating to our “Customers” – LazyChat’s business customers and users of the LazyChat Revenue Intelligence services (“Services”), participants at our events, any other prospective customers or partners, and any individuals who visit or otherwise interact with any of our applications and web pages (such as LazyChat.io, or call login pages generated through our Services), online ads, content, social media profiles, emails or communications under our control (collectively, “Sites”).
You are not legally required to provide us with any personal data. If you do not wish to provide us with your personal data, or to have it processed by us or any of our Service Providers (defined below), please do not provide it to us and avoid any interaction with us or with our applications, or use of our Services. If you are a user of the Services on behalf of any of our business customers, we suggest that you contact your account administrator with any questions.
By accessing our website, using the service, integrating with our systems, or otherwise providing us with your personally identifying information, you are accepting the practices and policies described in the Privacy Policy. Our Privacy Policy may change from time to time, and any changes will be posted on this page, if the changes are significant, we will provide a more prominent notice. 1. Data Collection
We may ask you to provide us, or third parties may provide us with certain Personal Information that can be used to contact or identify you. Personal Information may include but is not limited to, your name, postal address, email address, and contact number. We collect Personal Information for the purpose of providing the Services, identifying and communicating with you about the Services, responding to your requests/inquiries, servicing your purchase orders, improving our Services, and communicating with you about our Services, discounts, and promotions.
2. Information Collected Directly from You
We collect information about you when you provide it to us and automatically when you use the Services.
3. Log Data
We collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our website or use our Services (“Log Data”). This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Services that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages, and other statistics. In addition, we use third-party services such as Google Analytics that collect, monitor, and analyze this type of information in order to increase our Service’s functionality. These third-party service providers have their own privacy policies addressing how they use such information. When you access the Services by or through a mobile device, we collect certain information automatically, including the type of mobile device you use, your mobile device’s unique device ID, the IP address of your mobile device, your mobile operating system, the type of mobile Internet browser you use, and your general location information as described further below.

Cookies are files with a small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and transferred to your device. We use cookies to collect information in order to improve our Services. You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. The “Help” feature on most browsers provides information on how to accept cookies, disable cookies, or notify you when receiving a new cookie. If you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some features of our Services and we recommend that you leave them turned on.
5. Information Collected from Other Sources
We will enrich your Personal Information with additional Personal Information received from publicly accessible sources. We may also receive your information from services you integrate with LazyChat, from other users of LazyChat, or from our partners.
6. Integrations
You may enhance the Services by enabling LazyChat integrations with third-party products. If you provide third-party account credentials to us, you understand some content and/or information in those accounts (“Third Party Account Information”) will be transmitted into your account with us, and that Third Party Account Information transmitted to our Services is covered by this Privacy Policy. Further, LazyChat software may request permissions to take actions on your behalf using your third-party account credentials. For example, if you choose to integrate LazyChat Services with your Mail inbox, LazyChat software will request authority to read incoming messages and send emails on your behalf.
7. Partners
We work with partners who may market, sell, or support our Services. These partners may provide us with your Personal Information so that we can contact you. We also may receive your Personal Information from advertising, market research, or data enrichment partners with whom we engage to identify prospective customers.
8. Service Providers
We may employ third-party companies and individuals (our “agents”) to facilitate our Services, to provide the Services on our behalf, to perform complementary services, and/or to assist us in analyzing how our Services are used. Examples may include storing data, delivering messages, processing credit card payments, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, managing our agreements with you, supplementing the information you provide us in order to provide you with better service, and providing customer service. We do not transfer data to non-agent third parties. These third parties have access to your Personal Information only to perform specific tasks on our behalf and are under a written obligation not to disclose or use your Personal Information for any purpose other than those disclosed in this Privacy Policy.
Notwithstanding such legal and contractual obligations between us and such service providers, we remain potentially liable for any misuse of your Personal Information. We will only disclose Personal Information when we are required to do so in response to a lawful request by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements.
9. Data Usage
We use Customers’ personal data as necessary for the performance of our Services; to comply with our legal and contractual obligations; and to support our legitimate interests in serving the eCommerce owners with the option to provide their customers with a better, faster, and more personalized experience. e.g. in providing the support to the eCommerce owner to automate their product management, customer order process and support for messaging and comment reply automation and protecting and securing our customers, users, visitors, prospects, ourselves and our Services. If you reside or are using the Sites or Services in a territory governed by privacy laws under which “consent” is the only or most appropriate legal basis for the processing of personal data as described herein (in general, or specifically with respect to the types of personal data you expect or elect to process or have processed by us or via the Services), your acceptance of our terms and Conditions and this Privacy Policy will be deemed as your consent to the processing of your personal data for all purposes detailed in this Policy unless applicable law requires a different form of consent. Specifically, we use our Customers’ personal data for the following purposes: To facilitate, operate, enhance, and provide our Services; (a) To train our customer and user-facing staff; (b) To provide our clients with the facility to manage their products; (c) To provide our clients with the facility to manage and automate their customer interactions; (d) To provide our clients with the facility to manage their customer orders; (e) To provide our clients with the facility to manage and automate their page posts interactions; (f) To provide our customers and users with assistance and support; (g) To support and enhance our data security measures, including for the purposes of preventing and mitigating the risks of fraud, error or any illegal or prohibited activity; The security of your Personal Information is important to us, and we strive to implement and maintain reasonable, commercially acceptable security procedures and practices appropriate to the nature of the information we store, in order to protect it from unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification, or disclosure. However, please be aware that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and we are unable to guarantee the absolute security of the Personal Information we have collected from you.
10. Accessing and Correcting Your Personal Information
We acknowledge individuals’ rights to access their personal information. You may access, update, correct, or have removed from our systems and records the Personal Information you provided to us by emailing a request to support@lazychat.io or contacting us by telephone or postal mail. To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before updating or removing your information.
11. How can you opt out of the use and disclosure of your information?
If you would like your Personal Information removed from our mailing list or database, please contact us at support@lazychat.io. In the event of any such removal, LazyChat may retain copies of the information for its archives. If you do not wish to receive promotional communications, you may notify LazyChat at any time by sending an e-mail to: support@lazychat.io, changing your communications preferences in your profile settings whilst being logged as a user to our Services, or by following the “unsubscribe”, “stop”, “opt-out” or “change email preferences” instructions contained in the promotional communications you receive.
12. Data Retention & Deletion
We retain Customer personal data for as long as it is reasonably necessary in order to maintain and expand our relationship and provide you with our Services, Sites, and offerings; in order to comply with our legal and contractual obligations; or to protect ourselves from any potential disputes (i.e. as required by laws applicable to log-keeping, records and bookkeeping, and in order to have proof and evidence concerning our relationship, should any legal issues arise following your discontinuance of use), all in accordance with our data retention policy.
Please note that except as required by applicable law or our specific agreements with you, we will not be obligated to retain your personal data for any particular period, and we are free to securely delete it or restrict access to it for any reason and at any time, with or without notice to you. 12.1 Right to Request Deletion
Users have the right to request the deletion of their personal data collected by LazyChat. To initiate a data deletion request, please follow the process outlined below.

To request the deletion of your data, please send an email to support@lazychat.io. We will respond to your request within 72 hours and may need to verify your identity before proceeding with the data deletion.

13. Data Sharing
13.1 Service Providers
We may engage selected third-party companies and individuals to perform services complementary to our own. Such service providers include hosting and server co-location services, communications, and content delivery networks (CDNs), data security services, billing and payment processing services, fraud detection and prevention services, web analytics, e-mail distribution, and monitoring services, session or activity recording services, remote access services, performance measurement, data optimization and marketing services, social and advertising networks, content providers, e-mail, voicemails, support and customer relationship management systems, and our legal, financial and compliance advisors (collectively, “Service Providers“). Our service providers may have access to personal data, depending on each of their specific roles and purposes in facilitating and enhancing our Services, and may only use the data for such limited purposes as determined in our agreements with them. When our Service Providers contact you in order to offer or promote our Services, they may additionally interest you in their own services. Should you decide to engage in such activities with the Service Provider, please note that such engagement is beyond the scope of LazyChat’s Terms and Privacy Policy and will therefore be covered by our Service Provider’s Terms and Privacy Policy.
13.2 Business Customers
Our business customers have access to any data we process on their behalf in our capacity as a “processor” or a “service provider.”
13.3 Legal Compliance
We may disclose or allow government and law enforcement officials access to your personal data, in response to a subpoena, search warrant, or court order (or similar requirement), or in compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Such disclosure or access may occur if we believe in good faith that: (a) we are legally compelled to do so; (b) disclosure is appropriate in connection with efforts to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding actual or suspected illegal activity, fraud, or other wrongdoing; or (c) such disclosure is required to protect our legitimate business interests, including the security or integrity of our products and services.
13.4 Third-Party Websites and Services
Our Sites and Services may include links to third-party websites, and integrations with third-party services. Such websites and third-party services, and any information you process, submit, transmit, or otherwise use with such websites and third-party services, are governed by such third party’s terms and privacy practices and policies, and not by this Privacy Policy. 13.5 Protecting Rights and Safety
We may share personal data with others if we believe in good faith that this will help protect the rights, property, or personal safety of LazyChat, any of our users or customers, or any members of the general public.
14. Data Security
We implement systems, applications, and procedures to secure your personal data, to minimize the risks of theft, damage, loss of information, or unauthorized access or use of information. However, although we make efforts to protect your privacy, we cannot guarantee that our Sites or Services will be immune from any wrongdoings, malfunctions, unlawful interceptions or access, or other kinds of abuse and misuse.
15. Processing on Behalf of Business Customers
Our processing of personal data on behalf of our business customers as part of the Services is governed by our agreements with such customers. We process this data on behalf of our customers in our capacity as service providers (or “data processors”) to our customers. Our customers are “data controllers” (under the EU or UK GDPR and similar laws) or “business” (under the CCPA or similar laws) with respect to that data. Our business customers are solely responsible for determining whether and how they wish to use our Services, and for ensuring that all individuals using LazyChat on the customers’ behalf or at their request have been provided with adequate notice and given informed consent to the processing of their personal data, where such consent is necessary or advised, and that all legal requirements applicable to the collection, recording, use or other processing of data through our Services are fully met by the business customers, including specifically in the context of an employment relationship. Our business customers are also responsible for handling data subject rights requests under applicable law, by their users and other individuals whose data they process through the Services.
16. Additional Notices
16.1 Updates and Amendments
We may update and amend this Privacy Policy from time to time by posting an amended version on our Sites and/or Services. The amended version will be effective as of the date it is published. We will provide prior notice if we believe any substantial changes are involved via any of the communication means available to us or via the Sites and/or Services. After such notice period, all amendments shall be deemed accepted by you.

While our Sites and/or Services may contain links to other websites or services, we are not responsible for their privacy practices. We encourage you to pay attention when you leave our Sites or Services for the website or application of such third parties and to read the privacy policies of each and every website and service you visit. This Privacy Policy applies only to our Sites or Services.
16.3 Children Policy
Our Services are not designed to attract children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children and do not wish to do so. If we learn that a person under the age of 16 is using the Sites, Platform, and/or Services, we will attempt to prohibit and block such use and will make our best efforts to promptly delete any personal data stored with us with regard to such a child.
